Jewish Experience Theme Group

Are you Jewish and wonder how or if your NDE or other Spiritually Transformative Experience aligns with your faith? Are you struggling to integrate your experience? Come explore these questions with others having similar concerns. While this Sharing Session contains Jewish content, it is open to all who have a desire to join us.

The “Jewish Experience Sharing Group” is a sharing group for those in, or from, a Jewish community who have had, or are interested in the near-death or similar experiences.

For some experiencers, it’s helpful to consider issues of having a Jewish background when discussing their NDE/STE. This group allows a safe place for those types discussions. Each evening will begin with a presentation, followed by time for participants to respond. Additionally, there will be time to share your experiences, challenges, joys, and dreams.

We understand attendees of this group may come from many different Jewish traditions, other faith traditions, or none at all. We commit to respecting all who attend this group, knowing each person holds their own personal perspectives and beliefs.

This is a safe place of non-judgment. There is also no proselytizing. The group will explore the meaning and purpose of NDEs and how to integrate them by understanding the Jewish values implicit in the experience. Each person’s NDE or spiritual transformative experience is unique, and Rabbi Steve will help you find the hidden core of your soul’s purpose contained in the experience of the NDE.

Kabbalah, contemporary psychology, and brain science will provide a deeper understanding of the role of your physical being in this world and how leaving this world is not death, but transformation into another stage of living. Together we will support each other as we move to greater insights and application of the wisdom which will be revealed to all of us in these sessions

“Heaven’ and ‘Hell” — What Are They Really?! w/Mark Pitstick

Playing golden harps, begging for drops of water, or ___? Learn contemporary understandings about heaven, hell, and how YOU can shape the quality of your life now and after your earthly body dies. Saturday, September 25, 10 am Pacific / 1 pm Eastern.

Creating the Life You Envision with Mark Pitstick, MA, DC
Saturday, August 28th at 10 am PDT (1 pm EDT)

Ask the Soul Doctor: ‘Heaven’ and ‘Hell — What Are They Really?!

‘Heaven’ and ‘hell’ have been depicted in various ways by different religions. Is heaven walking on golden streets forever, how an evolved consciousness perceives life whether living on earth or elsewhere, or something else? Is hell a never-ending place of torment, or how we feel when ignorant of – and living incongruently with – our true nature and oneness with Source? Evidence-based answers to these questions shape our world views and decisions about how to best live during this earthly experience. Dr. Pitstick will share his thoughts based on his theology school studies and understandings about the greater reality. Attendees will be invited to share their past fears, current struggles, and deepest questions.

Mark Pitstick, MA, DC, has over forty-seven years’ experience and training in hospitals, pastoral counseling settings, mental health centers and private practice. His training includes a premedical degree, graduate theology/pastoral counseling studies, masters in clinical psychology, and doctorate in chiropractic health care. He also has provided suicide prevention counseling and education to many people.

Mary Blodgett’s NDE’s
Durham IANDS – September 17 at 7-9pm EDT (4-6pm PDT)

A suicide attempt at 18 led to Mary to have her second NDE, during which she learned that this is her last time here. She has also experienced unexpected miracles on this side of the veil.

Mary is a two-time near-death survivor, Reiki Master, spiritual director, artist & writer.

She also founded the Facebook page (The Near Death Experience & The Afterlife) which is solely dedicated to NDErs, those who are struggling with loss, and still others who are simply searching for answers related to the afterlife.

About the facilitator

The Rev. Stephanie Chase Bradbury has been an Episcopal Priest for 25 years and has professionally counseled many people who’ve had NDE’s and STE’s. She herself has had a number of Spiritually Transformative Experiences beginning at age 6. Stephanie is drawn to the bright overlap between matter and spirit, and how life in this reality is intertwined with the transcendent. She feels called to act as a translator to a world that is often blind to the astonishing wonder of All That Is, and help facilitate the processing of those who have been touched by the extraordinary. Stephanie has led retreats, spoken at Boston IANDS gatherings, and been interviewed for the Leap from Within podcast. While grounded in the Christian tradition, Stephanie welcomes insight both from within organized religions and beyond. You can learn more at Grannypriest.com.
