IANDS Christian Sharing Group

4th Monday of the Month, 8pm ET, 5pm PT

Are you a Christian who wonders how or if your NDE or other Spiritually Transformative Experience aligns with your faith? Are you a non-Christian who has had an NDE with Jesus, or set in a Christian context? Are you struggling to integrate your experience? It is helpful for some experiencers to be able to consider issues of Christianity in discussing their NDE/STE. This group allows for these sorts of discussions. Each evening will begin with a brief presentation, followed by time for participants to respond. There will also be time to share our experiences and struggles and joys and dreams. We come from many different Christian traditions, or none at all, and will therefore hold a variety of views, so we commit to respecting all perspectives. This is a safe place of non-judgment. There is also no proselytizing. With open hearts we can discern the movement of the Holy Spirit among and within us. While this Sharing Session contains Christian content, it is open to all who feel called to join us.

Your Facilitator
Diane Corcoran, an Army nurse who has been there – from Vietnam to Desert Storm. Dr. Corcoran served as a nurse from the Vietnam War to Desert Storm. In 1969, she cared for a 19 yr. old wounded
Vietnam combat soldier who wanted to share his NDE on the battlefield, but was extremely worried that no one would
believe him. Instinctively, Diane listened to his account with care and compassion. Though the term NDE was not yet
coined, she knew that his extremely emotional experience had a profound life changing impact on him. Since that day,
she has dedicated her life to educating the international medical community about NDE and provided validation, education and support for active military and veteran experiencers. Dr. Corcoran served as a former President of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) and continues to serve as a Board of Director. In addition, she is the founder of Corcoran Consulting and The Vet NDE Project.

It is the facilitators role to provide an opportunity for each person, who wishes to do so, to share. It is also the facilitator’s goal to keep the group space safe while maintaining neutrality. These groups do not provide counseling. They are peer-to-peer sharing groups. These groups last 90 minutes. There is no guest speaker. Each attendee is given the same privileges to speak as all other attendees, as long as the guidelines are followed. The size of groups are limited. The group access closes 10 minutes after start time to maintain the feeling of safety, security, and privacy. Jewish Experience Theme Group

Are you Jewish and wonder how or if your NDE or other Spiritually Transformative Experience aligns with your faith? Are you struggling to integrate your experience? Come explore these questions with others having similar concerns. While this Sharing Session contains Jewish content, it is open to all who have a desire to join us.

The “Jewish Experience Sharing Group” is a sharing group for those in, or from, a Jewish community who have had, or are interested in the near-death or similar experiences.

For some experiencers, it’s helpful to consider issues of having a Jewish background when discussing their NDE/STE. This group allows a safe place for those types discussions. Each evening will begin with a presentation, followed by time for participants to respond. Additionally, there will be time to share your experiences, challenges, joys, and dreams.

We understand attendees of this group may come from many different Jewish traditions, other faith traditions, or none at all. We commit to respecting all who attend this group, knowing each person holds their own personal perspectives and beliefs.

This is a safe place of non-judgment. There is also no proselytizing. The group will explore the meaning and purpose of NDEs and how to integrate them by understanding the Jewish values implicit in the experience. Each person’s NDE or spiritual transformative experience is unique, and Rabbi Steve will help you find the hidden core of your soul’s purpose contained in the experience of the NDE.

Kabbalah, contemporary psychology, and brain science will provide a deeper understanding of the role of your physical being in this world and how leaving this world is not death, but transformation into another stage of living. Together we will support each other as we move to greater insights and application of the wisdom which will be revealed to all of us in these sessions

About the facilitator

The Rev. Stephanie Chase Bradbury has been an Episcopal Priest for 25 years and has professionally counseled many people who’ve had NDE’s and STE’s. She herself has had a number of Spiritually Transformative Experiences beginning at age 6. Stephanie is drawn to the bright overlap between matter and spirit, and how life in this reality is intertwined with the transcendent. She feels called to act as a translator to a world that is often blind to the astonishing wonder of All That Is, and help facilitate the processing of those who have been touched by the extraordinary. Stephanie has led retreats, spoken at Boston IANDS gatherings, and been interviewed for the Leap from Within podcast. While grounded in the Christian tradition, Stephanie welcomes insight both from within organized religions and beyond. You can learn more at Grannypriest.com.

A Spiritual Journey in a Physical World

In reviewing his life, Mr. Thompson has discovered several paths that were set for him to follow in this life on earth before he came back in this reincarnation. He knows he did not have to follow the path because he is given choices. However, there are lessons to learn, and he trusts his guides who never tell him what to do. They are there to guide him and encourage him.

Ten Shocking NDE Events w Nanci L. Danison
January 29, 2022 — 1:00 pm ET (10 am PT)

After giving a brief overview of my many NDEs, I will focus on the 10 most shocking things that happened during them. These will be aspects of my afterlife or out-of-body experiences that I have not seen mentioned in other NDErs’ accounts. They provide deep insight into what the afterlife is like once a soul transitions back to spiritual nature, as well as into reincarnation, having a monitored mission, the nature of souls, manifesting, the various stages of eternal life, and much more.

Biography:

I am a retired attorney and current spiritual author who has written 5 books so far just on the experiences I had and the information I received in the afterlife. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in biology (anatomy & physiology) and chemistry, a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, and a doctorate in jurisprudence.

Since 1994, I have had 3 NDE-afterlife experiences, the first of which was transcendental in nature. The second and third NDE-afterlife experiences were what I call meetings with my Council, the group of Light Beings in the afterlife who are monitoring my performance of the mission I accepted at the end of my transcendental afterlife experience.

I have also had 3 NDE-OOB experiences during which I got out of my body in hospitals during surgery or when very close to death. I have had what I call 2 “pop in” NDEs, where I popped into the afterlife for a particular purpose while still alive. During one I had a life review. During the other I received a huge download of information about everything that has ever been written in Earth’s history. Lastly, I was privileged to share my mother’s out-of-body adventure and death via an empathic NDE.

For a number of years I was the group leader of Central Ohio IANDS, a chapter I founded. I have spoken at an IANDS Conference and various IANDS chapter group meetings over the years.
