IANDS Stellar Speakers Series presents… A Second in Eternity

A professional psychic for decades, Gary L. Wimmer will speak in detail about his intense and life-changing 1977 near-death experience (NDE) and what it revealed about the current and future challenges facing all of humanity. He considers himself one of the luckiest of people for being shown how clearly ‘the light at the end of the tunnel’ is coming into view during the decades ahead to all who seek it. Sat. Dec. 19, 2020, 10:00 am PST (1:00 pm EST)

Gary L Wimmer began studying psychic ability during the late 60s in college while studying Electrical Engineering, and started giving readings professionally in 1974. In 1977, he had a life-changing “near-death experience” (NDE) that revealed the Unity that underlies all things, and shed light on the “World Revolution” we are currently experiencing and its affects on all of humanity. Life always guarantees change, and it is often through change and the unexpected that we learn to see matters from a new and more enlightened perspective.

For example, Gary recognizes that Covid-19, manifesting as humankind’s latest major “curve ball” is Infinite Mind acting through Nature to encourage mankind to reevaluate everything and make new priorities.

Gary has spoken in depth about these necessary changes during numerous interviews and during his recent radio show.

That intense and enlightening 1977 NDE still profoundly inspires and motivates Gary to this day, and he wrote about it in detail in his book, A SECOND IN ETERNITY. SEE:

garywimmer.com/writer/eternity.htm

As a professional psychic for over forty-five years, Gary has been referred to as a medium, intuitive, healer, teacher, spiritualist, and clairvoyant. SEE: http://lithomancy.com. He is the author of LITHOMANCY, THE PSYCHIC ART OF READING STONES, the only comprehensive book on the amazingly revealing methodology he uses, known as Lithomancy. SEE: http://garywimmer.com/writer/litho_book.htm

In his presentation Gary will address questions such as: Who or what is God? How can we learn to “read the signs” and develop our natural psychic abilities? What is the best use of free will? What is our collective past and our collective destiny? Is there life after death and what is it like? How much is written in stone and how much affect do we have? He still offers readings over the phone. Both of his books are available on Amazon and Kindle.

Bio:

Gary studied Electrical Engineering at Texas Tech University 1965-1970. Always curious about God, life and the Universe, during the late 60s, he became interested in psychic ability and began reading the works of psychics and spiritualists like Edgar Cayce, Madame Blavatsky and Ruth Montgomery, stirring his curiosity and opening him up to his own abilities. He began giving readings in 1974. In 1977, he had an intensely illuminating NDE, which took him to the worlds beyond and to the infinite power and creativity of The Source, changing his life forever. He still offers readings and does interviews.

IANDS Stellar Speakers Series presents… Bringing Death to Life (leaving fear behind)

Dr. Mary Helen Hensley will give a detailed account of her NDE and its subsequent impact on her life as a healer. You will feel what it was like for her to be self-aware to the point of time seeming to stand still while deciding to exit the body, then observing from above, as her vehicle was hit broad side. In the current public-magnified focus on death due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mary Helen’s message is the absolute anecdote for the fear-based response that this crisis produces in a vast number of people. Bringing Death To Life with Dr. Mary Helen Hensley

Mary Helen will give a detailed account of her NDE and its subsequent impact on her life as a healer. You will feel what it was like for her to be self-aware to the point of time seeming to stand still while deciding to exit the body, then observing from above, as her vehicle was t-boned in an intersection by a driver running a red-light at a speed estimated to be over 75 mph.

In the current public-magnified focus on death due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mary Helen’s message is the absolute anecdote for the fear-based response that this crisis produces in a vast number of people. Even beyond this calming perspective communicated by Mary’s experience is an even greater awareness that “all situations are working out fine”; as they are intended to contribute to a heightened awareness of the truth that personal consciousness, that is a complete awareness of self, continues. The passage called “death” is thus illuminated as another opportunity to realize the reality of “fear” is the only adversary and it is totally unnecessary, even related to human death.

Especially related to fears raised by most religions and other human dictums of right and wrong, there is a positive message within Mary Helen’s narrative that addresses how “everyone makes it”. This may be the message that will do the most to calm unnecessary uneasiness about living life fully with whatever time we are given.

Each of these subjects will be woven together in a delightfully humorous yet informative presentation, allowing each listener to empower themselves with the knowledge that we already are that which we seek.

Biography

Dr. Mary Helen Hensley has been psychically aware from childhood and shares how she found her life’s purpose by the outcome from having her near-death experience.  In her NDE, she meets her spiritual guardians and she describes how her deceased grandfather guided her to become a chiropractor when she had no significant awareness of that profession.

Now having been licensed and practicing the true course of a healer for nearly two decades, she shares numerous anecdotes for the real spiritual purpose of her “hands-on” healing for her clients.

Mary Helen is also a very prolific author just having completed an audio book to go with nine published books… including Promised by Heaven: A Doctor’s Return from the Afterlife to a Destiny of Love and HealingUnderstanding Is the New Healing: Miraculous Recoveries from Physical and Emotional Trauma; and our theme today… Bringing Death to Life: An Uplifting Exploration of Living, Dying, the Soul Journey and the Afterlife.

An Arizona IANDS Guest Speaker Webinar hosts:
“A Resistant Atheist’s Path to Becoming: The Accidental Medium” – Louisa Peck
Friday, December 11, 2020, 6 pm PST
(7 pm MST, 8 pm CST, 9 pm EST)

Raised atheist with a disdain for anyone who believed differently, Louisa Peck had just graduated from Vassar College when, in a Manhattan night club, she snorted a gram of lidocaine sold to her as cocaine and suffered a cardiac arrest. Her NDE progressed from a symbolic landscape into the heart of the sun, where she encountered a being of immense, indescribable love. Sent back against her will, 22-year-old Louisa found herself unable to face the ridicule from her family, society, and her own rational mind entailed in acknowledging the reality of her NDE — not to mention a reason to stop drinking. Instead she chose to deny her NDE’s reality. Despite striving with all her will to remain atheist, Louisa experienced over a dozen paranormal events in the next two decades that changed her mind. Today, hearing regularly from her guardian angel and occasionally from deceased loved ones, she refers to herself as an “accidental medium.”

Bio:

After a youth spent publishing short fiction and teaching college English, Louisa now runs her own business coaching tech managers in writing skills. A Seattle “native,” she remains an avid mountain climber at age 60, having summited all five Washington volcanoes several times and planning to stand atop Mount Rainier again next summer. She and her 19-year-old son both recovered from Covid-19 this spring. She remains an active member of Seattle IANDS, having interviewed over a dozen NDErs and condensed their stories for the Seattle IANDS newsletter.

Tune in Friday, Dec. 11, 6 pm PST (9 pm EST), to ruminate together on these perspectives.

Christian Theme NDE/STE Discussion Group

Individuals often report having a being they identify as Jesus in their near-death or related spiritual experiences. This group is intended to provide a safe, validating opportunity to share individual experiences. This is not a forum to debate or deny another person’s experiences. All are welcome for the mission of loving and respecting individual experiences and differences of interpretation from religious themed experiences.

Title: A sharing group for those in, or from, a Christian community who have had, or are interested in, near-death or similar experiences.

Purpose: To provide a safe environment for those in, or from, such a community to hear and share these extraordinary experiences.

Are you a Christian who wonders how or if your NDE or other Spiritually Transformative Experience aligns with your faith? Are you struggling to integrate your experience and your religion? Come explore these questions with others having similar concerns. We will share our experiences and struggles and joys and dreams. We come from many different Christian traditions and will therefore hold a variety of views, so we commit to respecting all perspectives and seeing Christ in each other. This is a safe place of non-judgment. There is also no proselytizing. With open hearts we can discern the movement of the Holy Spirit among and within us. While this Sharing Session contains Christian content, it is open to all who feel called to join us.

About the facilitator

The Rev. Stephanie Chase Bradbury has been an Episcopal Priest for 25 years and has professionally counseled many people who’ve had NDE’s and STE’s. She herself has had a number of Spiritually Transformative Experiences beginning at age 6. Stephanie is drawn to the bright overlap between matter and spirit, and how life in this reality is intertwined with the transcendent. She feels called to act as a translator to a world that is often blind to the astonishing wonder of All That Is, and help facilitate the processing of those who have been touched by the extraordinary. Stephanie has led retreats, spoken at Boston IANDS gatherings, and been interviewed for the Leap from Within podcast. While grounded in the Christian tradition, Stephanie welcomes insight both from within organized religions and beyond. You can learn more at Grannypriest.com.

Dr. Christina Rawls grew up knowing she was different… from having her own language as a child to experiencing a variety of what are known as supernatural experiences. Chris will discuss her interest, research and experiences in metaphysics while sharing some photographs of orbs, a phenomena she began recording in 2011 to the present. Join us Wed. December 9, at 7:00 pm CST (5 PST, 6 MST, 8 EST).

Chris Rawls, Ph.D., will discuss her interest, research and experiences in metaphysics.
Wednesday, December 9 at 7:00 pm CST (5 PST, 6 MST, 8 EST)
Sponsored by Dallas/Ft Worth Friends of IANDS,
Co-leaders:  Jan Holden, Ed.D., and Peter Quortrup

Dr. Christina Rawls grew up knowing she was different, from having her own language as a child to a variety of supernatural experiences. Having come close to death at least six times, she documented these experiences in various ways over time, including in her master’s thesis on both physics and philosophy in 2004. At the age of 44 Chris is currently teaching philosophy full-time at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. In tonight’s talk, Chris will discuss her interest, research and experiences in metaphysics while sharing some of her photographs of orbs, a phenomena she noticed and began documenting in 2011.

Chris’s childhood metaphysical experiences were multiple. From precognition to astral-projection, evidential mediumship and more, her family witnessed and eventually concluded that Chris had abilities and experiences they couldn’t name. Though some attribute these episodes to family trauma, stress, anxiety and related mental health causes, they have persisted into adulthood and have been witnessed by multiple others, encouraging Chris to seek further understanding.

Today, with a doctorate in philosophy Chris is ready to begin discussing her experiences publicly, hoping thereby to continue taking philosophy to task while encouraging other academics to bring these topics to the table as legitimate areas of concern. Even now, her record of super-normal experiences, as NDE researcher Dean Radin would call them, continues to grow. Inspired by IANDS’s and others’ long history of scientific research on related phenomena, and encouraged by the work of evidential medium Suzanne Giesemann and journalist Annie Jacobson among many, Chris hopes to find a publisher, get tested scientifically, and eventually teach openly on such topics in academia. The journey begins tonight.

“Maintaining Unity Consciousness While Embracing Diversity” – Chuck had a successful 40-year career in a Fortune 25 corporation constructing then managing multinational computer services. In parallel to this work life, a spiritual life developed that crisscrossed structured analyses of a non-material reality as typified by near-death and similar experiences. Mixing these two broadly defined structured paradigms has resulted in an interesting mix for a theory of what’s really going on here! Join us on Friday, Nov. 13 at 6 pm PST (9 pm EST).

Out of the Box – Insights to the Other Side: Maintaining Unity Consciousness While Embracing Diversity” w Chuck Swedrock, BSc, MBA, ACISTE Coach
Friday, November 13, 2020, 6 pm PST
(7 pm MST, 8 pm CST, 9 pm EST)

Looking back on a spiritually directed life, a map can be drawn of how experiences accumulate through a lifetime to give us the ingredients for this present-moment “impression” of reality (for examples see Chuck’s YouTube video “A Life Guided by Experiences – Chuck Swedrock“).

Using two brief illustrations, one from Dr. Michael Newton’s work revealed in his book, “Journey of Souls”, and the other from Todd Michael’s book, “Evolution Angel“, Chuck will share a lifetime journey that leads to the conclusion of why we are where we’re at and meant to be for the current moment.

A cowboy hat to emphasize the journey of this life...Then, looking at the twists, turns, and major episodes in life, Chuck will share some expansive views of what he has come to realize in working with many near-death and similar experiencers about what life on this planet appears to be versus some very convincing evidence for how it “really is”???

Tune in Friday, Nov. 13, 6 pm PST (9 pm EST), to ruminate together on these perspectives.

As a near-death experiencer, 4X cancer survivor, author and hospital chaplain, Rev. David Maginley, explores the soul’s homework through the wisdom of those who have stepped across the edge of mortality. In these chaotic times, understanding how conflict and suffering challenge ego self-preservation has never been more important. “Conflict and Suffering as Instruments of Awakening”
with Rev. David Maginley, MDiv, CSCP
Saturday, November 21, 10 am PST (1 pm EST, 2 pm AST)

As a near-death experiencer, 4X cancer survivor, author and hospital chaplain Rev. David Maginley, explores the soul’s homework through the wisdom of those who have stepped across the edge of mortality. In these chaotic times, understanding how conflict and suffering challenge ego self-preservation has never been more important. Engaging this wisely accelerates our awareness that we all emanate from Love. Our differences need not divide us!

The ego is such a convincing garment of identity! And nothing threatens it life conflict and suffering. How easily we believe everything we think. How often we are controlled by everything we feel. Yet those who’ve had a NDE know that ego identity is a necessary illusion, an aspect of the human experience. Their temporary transformation does not lead to enlightenment! But it does leave the indelible signature of the sacred upon our psyche.

David has been with hundreds as they’ve died, and will share insights on ego identity, how it fuels the present crisis, and the centrality of forgiveness and reconciliation in coming home to ourselves. One of the most difficult and central aspects of this is understanding the way conflict and suffering deconstruct ego identity in the reverse order that it was formed. And ego does not enjoy the process! Instinctive defence mechanisms kick in, and add fuel to the fire. This replays old injuries, triggering regret, shame, and frustration. What can we do?

David will explore concrete, simple strategies to restore connection and community, grounded in the wisdom of near-death experiences. We are all wired with this. Awakening it is the homework of the soul, now more than ever.

Rev. David Maginley is an interfaith spiritual counselor at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and award-winning author of Beyond Surviving: Cancer and Your Spiritual Journey. David has also survived cancer four times, which resulted in a profound near-death experience and explorations in the nature of consciousness and the connection of body, mind and spirit. He knows what it’s like to have cancer from both sides of the hospital bed, and has a sense of this life from both sides of the veil.

David is ordained with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, a specialist with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care, member of Canadian Association for Psychosocial Oncology, the International Association for Near-Death Studies, and is featured in the documentaries Here Right Now and When You Die.

He has presented internationally on the most difficult topics: suffering and meaning, grief and hope, death and dying and our connection to God through love.

Portland Oregon IANDS Guest Speaker Event

“I was shown a new positive future for humanity has now been realized by events on earth as observed by the Messengers in my latest NDE earlier this month!” — Rabbi Stephen Robbins, Psy. D., D.D. Join us as Rabbi Robbins shares the latest messages from his eighth NDE… a bright outlook exists for humanity as seen from the spiritual dimension that he visited. Hear his experience on Saturday, November 21, 1:30 pm PST (4:30 pm EST)

I was shown a new positive future for humanity has now been realized by events on earth as observed by the Messengers in my latest NDE earlier this month!

with Rabbi Stephen Robbins, Psy. D., D.D.

Rabbi Robbins has had eight near-death experiences, the most recent being this month, November, 2020. Rabbi is eager to share the positive messages from this latest experience. The capstone message is that “humanity has turned the corner and will continue to realize even more that ‘we are all dependent on each other’ resulting in less avarice between competing ideologies and more agreement to co-exist for healing the welfare of ourselves and the planet!

Rabbi Robbins’ first NDE occurred at birth when he was born dead in 1944 with the umbilical cord wrapped around the neck of his fetus. His second NDE was in l964 from severe hepatitis, then 1987 with a collapse lung from influenza originally contracted in 1985 with aggravation to previous severe lung damage, and again in 1991 with a second lung collapse followed by a third lung collapse in 2005 and by a severe shingles infection which left him in level 10 pain.

The sixth NDE was in January 2018, in which he received a message about IANDS which he knew nothing about at the time of this NDE. The seventh NDE was in May of 2020 in which he had massive organ failure, pneumonia, blood clots while in the hospital. Rabbi Steve was out of his body in near-death experiences several times. He has since been part of a research project for IANDS on NDEs and prophetic visions conducted by Robert and Susan Mays. Those videos are available on the IANDS website.

**** Special Message from Portland Oregon IANDS ****

Greetings!  My name is Greg Thompson and I am the new group leader for the Portland IANDS chapter.  I want to thank Jane de Forest for her hard work as the previous group leader.  She is a good friend and I wish her well.
I personally have had several near-death experiences and one shared death experience. In addition, I have had guidance to help me on my intended path in this life. I have helped people through rough times with grief, providing comfort and aid to people all around the world with the help of my guides.

I spoke about these experiences at a Portland IANDS meeting last January and have been involved in IANDS for the past three years off and on. I have written a book about my experiences and it is being published soon. It is titled ‘Living with My Spirit Guides’.

I am excited about working with the members and friends of Portland IANDS. Talking and working with people of similar interest in an area that was for a long time ridiculed is a breath of fresh air. Everyone has a different and valuable perspective on the world and deserves to be able to share their experiences and thoughts in a safe environment. I believe IANDS provides that space.
