Near-Death Experiences… The Significance – Rev. Dick Dinges
Saturday, January 4 at 10 am EST
The knowledge that can be gained by a study of near-death experience has become mainstream, and this knowledge is having an impact on Christianity. In his talk Dick will share his perspective on how the church will be affected, and what church leaders can do to keep their churches learning and growing. Attendees will be encouraged to share what they know about NDE to shorten the time when Love will be the only standard.
Dick Dinges is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, having served seven churches over 26 years. Currently he is a volunteer minister at Fellowship of the Inner Light in Virginia Beach, and he works full-time as a Hospice Chaplain with Heartland Hospice, a job he has enjoyed for the last 15 years. Dick has studied near-death experience for 30 years, and has incorporated what he has learned into his theology and practice. He is especially glad when he is able to share information about life beyond the physical realm with his hospice clients. Most of all he teaches Love and tries to extend Love by helping the people he meets!!
