David A. Williamson, a native of Yanceyville, NC, experienced a near-death event in 2017 that profoundly transformed his understanding of life and the human experience. For much of his life, he grappled with identity confusion, racial narratives, racial and general trauma, and rigid ideological and personal orientations. During his near-death experience, as he hovered above his dying body in an emergency room, he came to deep realizations about his life that invited him to embrace a new, integrative approach to living and being.
Since his NDE, David has dedicated himself to grounding these insights and exploring practical ways of approaching life that emphasize imagination, creation, and openness to possibility.
David Williamson is a native of Yanceyville, North Carolina. He has shared his story at our IANDS Conferences and on podcasts. David continues to engage in conversations that inspire hope, understanding, and the power of personal transformation. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and welcomes opportunities for interviews, collaborations, and meaningful exchanges.
