Born in Toronto, Canada, Madelyn Freeman has lived in London since 1971, where she has worked in the National Health Service (NHS) as a psychotherapist. She once served as chair of a psychotherapy unit in London and maintains a long-term interest in and experience with Jungian Depth Psychology. As such, she was especially attuned to transpersonal possibilities – those that transcend the usual personal limits of space, time, identity, and/or influence – when her adult son eventually succumbed in 2011 after an eight-year journey with brain cancer. Beginning with the moment of his death, she experienced direct communion with him and was given a brief but striking insight into the true nature of reality and the primacy of consciousness. She writes, “We are embedded in a flow of information that comes to us or through us, but does not necessarily depend on our own thinking.”
Madelyn has written several papers on psychology and dreams, one of which was published as a chapter in a medical textbook. After many years with the NHS and in private practice, she continues to write and speak about transpersonal topics, hosting “Paradigm Explorer” meetings for the Scientific and Medical Network in London as well as private meetings titled “An Exploration of Non-Ordinary Experiences.” On Wednesday, October 12th, at 7:00 pm Central Time, Madelyn will join us from her home in London to share her moving story of after-death communication and more.
