It’s come to light that the percentage of people who have had Distressing NDEs is higher than previous thought. Does this percentage tend to encompass people of a certain culture or religion? Are atheists more likely to have them than people who consider themselves “saved”?
Are we better off listening to the first-hand accounts of experiencers or in putting our faith in statistics? Why are the distressing NDEs so different from one another while “positive ones” seem to share many of the same events?
This program will attempt to shed some light on these questions. Our participants come from different directions on the subject and don’t always agree on their findings.
About Kathy
With a father in the military, M.K. (Kathy) McDaniel and her family called cities from coast-to-coast home. Thus, this shy young girl became more outgoing. Kathy’s love of people and communication skills drew her into real estate property management for decades. She founded a company, Land Lady, A Calif. Corp., and retired at 50. Her life was upended while caring for a dear friend with leukemia. A devasting illness forced her into a lengthy coma. While there, Kathy’s Distressing NDE, a visit to Heaven and the unwelcome return to Earth caused her to rethink everything she had been taught about religion and the Afterlife. This led her to IANDS, to the writing of her memoir and to co-founding the IANDS Distressing NDE Sharing Group. Kathy has been a guest on over 170 Podcasts sharing her fascinating story, has garnered well over two million views to date and sells her book, “Misfit in Hell to Heaven Expat” worldwide. It soon will be available in Spanish.
