Description
Former CHIPS Officer Transformed by NDE with Robert Bare
Robert spent over two decades as a highway officer. “I saw lots of death, and I became callous.” Spirituality or religion played no role in his life until a massive heart attack in 2009 changed all that. His near-death experience narrative has been shared on various TV shows and prime media interviews.
The episode of the popular series I Survived … Beyond and Back, that featured Robert was rated as one of the most popular in the series. He has just recently finished an interview for William Shatner’s “Unexplained” show on the History Channel.
He has been the subject of several research studies, and was one of the featured experiencers in Debra Diamond’s book Life After Near Death: Miraculous Stories of Healing and Transformation in the Extraordinary Lives of People With Newfound Powers.
Robert was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) earlier this year and spoke at the IANDS 2019 Conference near Philadelphia. His extensive background serving as city manager for three city councils, as an international consultant conducting audits of corporate business practices, an adjunct professor, plus an award-winning grant writer in the state of Oregon, has found a natural place of service for Robert to assist IANDS with the expansion of its global mission.
