Christian Theme NDE/STE Discussion Group

Individuals often report having a being they identify as Jesus in their near-death or related spiritual experiences. This group is intended to provide a safe, validating opportunity to share individual experiences. This is not a forum to debate or deny another person’s experiences. All are welcome for the mission of loving and respecting individual experiences and differences of interpretation from religious themed experiences.

Title: A sharing group for those in, or from, a Christian community who have had, or are interested in, near-death or similar experiences.

Purpose: To provide a safe environment for those in, or from, such a community to hear and share these extraordinary experiences.

Are you a Christian who wonders how or if your NDE or other Spiritually Transformative Experience aligns with your faith? Are you struggling to integrate your experience and your religion? Come explore these questions with others having similar concerns. We will share our experiences and struggles and joys and dreams. We come from many different Christian traditions and will therefore hold a variety of views, so we commit to respecting all perspectives and seeing Christ in each other. This is a safe place of non-judgment. There is also no proselytizing. With open hearts we can discern the movement of the Holy Spirit among and within us. While this Sharing Session contains Christian content, it is open to all who feel called to join us.

About the facilitator

The Rev. Stephanie Chase Bradbury has been an Episcopal Priest for 25 years and has professionally counseled many people who’ve had NDE’s and STE’s. She herself has had a number of Spiritually Transformative Experiences beginning at age 6. Stephanie is drawn to the bright overlap between matter and spirit, and how life in this reality is intertwined with the transcendent. She feels called to act as a translator to a world that is often blind to the astonishing wonder of All That Is, and help facilitate the processing of those who have been touched by the extraordinary. Stephanie has led retreats, spoken at Boston IANDS gatherings, and been interviewed for the Leap from Within podcast. While grounded in the Christian tradition, Stephanie welcomes insight both from within organized religions and beyond. You can learn more at Grannypriest.com.

An NDE Gave Krista the Tools for Living

While in labor, Krista Gorman suffered an amniotic fluid embolism resulting in cardiopulmonary arrest. Her pulse was lost  for 8 minutes, followed by three days in the ICU  for severe bleeding. Krista Gorman is a Physician Assistant. Back in the summer of 2000 she had just recently completed her training and was pregnant with her daughter Maggie.

While in labor, Krista suffered an amniotic fluid embolism resulting in cardiopulmonary arrest. Her pulse was lost  for 8 minutes, followed by three days in the ICU  for severe bleeding. Krista experienced an NDE when she flatlined, it was the catalyst for profound change that really would not fully take hold  until  10 years afterwards. Krista explains,

“I continue to gain more and more insight into my experience and how it explains the Universe and our place in it.”

Krista Gorman, a Florida resident, is a Physician Assistant who has worked in emergency, pain management and now has gone to assist in the Covid crisis. Krista went to work in New York City when the pandemic so tumultuously emerged there. She has spent the last few months in field hospitals in Texas working 12 hour shifts, 6 days a week.

Krista wrote the book “I Died and Learned How to Live” available on Amazon.  In this book she shares her story and the principles by which she transformed her life and aligned herself with the love she was on the other side.

Krista and her daughter were featured on the “Story of God” with Morgan Freeman in 2017 . It is viewable on the National Geographic episode “Heaven and Hell.”

Krista has spoken at past IANDS conferences, as well as for the Edgar Cayce Association in Virginia Beach, Spirit University and also Blissful Beginnings in Florida. She is married to Ainsley Threadgold, who also happens to be a near-death experiencer and their meeting is another beautiful story in itself.

Peter Panagore had a catapulting and captivating NDE that changed his life’s journey in unimaginable ways. It began by Peter choosing to live that he might help others find the path he discovered by freezing to death! In the magical music moment, Dean will share Peter’s favorite song… Thursday, October 15, 6 pm PDT (9 pm EDT)

Guest Experiencer – Peter Panagore

Peter Panagore is a husband, father, grandfather, a two-time near-death experiencer, storyteller, ordained pastor, writer, best-selling author, entrepreneur, public speaker, tv personality, producer, and more. He earned his Master of Divinity at Yale University with a focus on the classics of western mysticism.

Peter served eighteen years as a Congregational community minister in the United Church of Christ, primarily along the coast of Maine.

For fifteen years (2003-2018), Peter had the honor and privilege to broadcast a daily two-minute spot on two NBC TV stations with Daily Devotions just before the morning weather. Through this program, he reached thirty million viewers annually and countless listeners on FM and AM radio across Maine, New Hampshire, and around the nation.

The Near Dean Experience (moving to every second Thursday of the month – be sure to check the ISGO catalog listing):

* Mystical Music Moment – We listen to, share, and discuss brief clips of music that enable us to connect spiritually (approximately five minutes)

* Guest experiencer

* Q&A

Group Host: Dean Christensen

Dean has been a researcher of the NDE phenomenon for over thirty-eight years. A possible NDE (at a very young age) and multiple STE’s have compelled Dean to actively share these spiritual phenomena with others. Dean has a deep fascination with the human experience in tandem with the spiritual, as interpreted from the universal message of the NDE. As a musician and lover of music, Dean believes we can “tap into” various spiritual energies via the musical experience.

Please join us for what should be an uplifting and enriching experience!
