A Hungarian NDE: 9 Minutes-My Path to the Light
A Tribute to Tibor Putnoki by Robert && Suzanne Mays
Tibor Putnoki’s NDE is the most profound and evidential experience we have encountered in our 16 years of NDE research. More importantly, Tibor’s life — both before and after his NDE — is instructive to all of us how a life can be transformed by putting the principle of Love into action. It’s important to work with others in a group. When the living force of the Light of Love works through one, the heavenly world of Love is mirrored here on Earth, fulfilling one’s destiny to help and serve others. Tibor’s insights and actions have touched and transformed literally thousands of people. In this presentation, we will cover the details of Tibor’s NDE and the importance of his veridical perceptions to NDE research. We will explore the profound transformation Tibor underwent through his life review and his realization that people need to be told not to act as he had acted prior to his NDE. We will cover how Tibor used his deep insights to develop techniques for healing and self-development and to build a community of people — mostly non-NDErs — to bring the living force of the Light of Love into their lives.
Tibor Putnoki’s book is available through the IANDS website. Here is a description and a link below:
We’ve all read about how the ‘real life’ starts only after the physical body stops functioning. What a near-death experience actually reveals and means has been described many times by many authors. Now we can read the words of a man who has re-started his life because of this extraordinarily profound experience, and due to it has changed the lives of thousands since 1994.

About Robert and Suzanne:
Robert and Suzanne Mays have studied NDE phenomena together for over 40 years, although neither has had an NDE. They are particularly interested in veridical perceptions during NDEs and apparent interactions during NDEs between the NDEr and physical reality, as well as the neurological evidence of the interaction of the nonmaterial mind with the brain during ordinary consciousness, especially in language comprehension and in memory formation and recall. Robert worked in software development at Eastman Kodak and later at IBM for more than 30 years. After leaving IBM, he taught high school chemistry for several years at different Waldorf schools in the U.S. and is now retired, working harder than ever as IANDS Treasurer and Executive Committee Board Member. Suzanne is a Certified Music Practitioner with training through the Music for Healing and Transition Program. As a Certified Music Practitioner, she provided palliative care to patients at UNC Hospitals and Duke University Medical Center. She also teaches lyre privately and at the Emerson Waldorf School. Robert and Suzanne met Tibor Putnoki during the 2015 IANDS Conference and attended the Light of Love Cultural Gatherings in Hungary in 2016 and 2018.
