Lee Ann Heltzel was a guest artist at the 2024 IANDS Conference in Phoenix, where she worked over several days in the conference’s lively bookstore to channel Crossing the Veil, a visually stunning painting with special properties. After the conference, while meditating on this unique work of art, a woman from Massachusetts who had experienced an NDE during a stroke several years ago revisited her experience. “It was like a door opened,” she said, “and they allowed me to go to the other side again. It was unexpected and very magical.” Lee Ann explains that with meditation, her artwork, which she calls MetaArt, can become a portal into higher consciousness. On Wednesday, April 9, at 7:00 pm Central Time, she will speak with us live via Zoom from her home in Pennsylvania to explore the intersection of art and spirituality. Lee Ann will describe her creative process, and show how art can serve as a bridge between worlds, guiding individuals toward a more profound understanding and connection with the unseen. Join us and discover this connection for yourself as we meditate with the art live on the call.
About Lee Ann
Born a creative empath, Lee Ann Fortunato-Heltzel is most comfortable unearthing her next grand adventure, exploring what is possible within the capabilities of human potential and integrating these capacities into practical applications. Decades of exploring spirituality and human potential along with her work as a death doula have led Lee Ann to deeply trust her transpersonal capacities, which she believes we all have.
To Lee Ann, creativity and imagination are gateways into higher consciousness and are the cornerstone of her work. By trade, Lee Ann is a visual artist, graphic designer, death doula, and marketing innovater. Here, she channels a new genre of visual art called MetaArt. These abstract frequency paintings carry a specific energetic ‘signature’, like love, peace, or joy. When MetaArt combines with Ocular Meditation (an open-eye technique also known as Trataka, an ancient Sanskrit practice), the painting’s frequency can bypass the mind and engage directly with the pineal gland, opening the door to other realms.
