In the mid-1700s Emanuel Swedenborg experienced a spiritual awakening. Over the next 30 years, he documented his experiences and what he learned from the angels who guided him. His descriptions of the afterlife closely aligns with the reports of near-death experiencers.
Founder and Group Leader of IANDS Santa Barbara in 2011, Barbara Bartolome has had two Near-Death Experiences (1958 & 1987) and she believes they opened her life up to many incredibly amazing and truly astounding connections with God/Creator/Supreme Being, all of which guided her, literally saved her life, and cleared the path for her to fulfill her life purpose.
Venus-Val Tower is a retired US ARMY solider, and was trained combat EMT, Laboratory Tech and Paralegal. After her discharge she worked as a national Lobbyist to advocate on post deployment illness of veterans in Washington D.C. Currently in training to work as a Death Doula. She is a widow of 30-year relationship. She enjoyed being a mother of five children and three grandchildren. It was after the passing of husband Ken she awaken to psychic events in her life. Recently she joined IANDS organization that has aided processing her experiences.

If death is an end, then I know for certain there is nothing final about it. My mission is to tell people not to be afraid of death so that you can fully live this life now.
